We started off our zoo tour with the Louisville Zoo. We stayed with a dear friend (whom I met through my blog) and her family. We each have three little girls, and they had a marvelous time together. Aside from my miserable packing failures, the trip was a raging success. Highlights of our time at the zoo included: The Orangutan Cool Down, a Komodo Dragon eating white rats, our first encounter with tamarins, and some extra-tall giraffes.
